At the heart of the floor plan lies a rotunda-inspired chamber, anchoring the sequence of spaces with quiet ceremony. A sculptural palm rises at its centre, illuminated by a circular skylight that radiates a soft halo across the reception zone. Encircled by vertical oak fins, the chamber operates as both arrival point and gathering hall, setting a tone of calm dignity while guiding movement deeper into the interior.

Surrounding work zones are defined with subtle partitioning and planted troughs, creating pockets of privacy without losing a sense of continuity. Overhead, a seamless barrisol ceiling bathes the area in an ambient glow, mirroring natural daylight and heightening comfort throughout the open plan. These elements establish an environment where focus and interaction coexist with ease.

The studio restructured the office plate from its core, ensuring improved circulation and access across the plan. Material selections were central to shaping the project’s atmosphere. Oak timber, micro-cemented walls, sandstone and acoustic panelling form a palette that is both grounded and enduring, drawing on the muted calm of the desert landscape. Each surface brings tactile depth, with natural variations and textures reinforcing a sense of permanence.

Light is a defining presence, shifting between soft radiance in communal areas and diffuse glow within workspaces. This arrangement underscores the spatial hierarchy, guiding perception while enhancing comfort. The integration of natural references—stone, timber, desert tones—connects the interior with its regional context, embedding the office within its setting while providing a contemporary expression.
