Lodes OUTDOOR
With the launch of its inaugural outdoor lighting collection, Lodes brings its distinctive aesthetic and technical precision to new terrain.
Lodes OUTDOOR marks a considered expansion of the Italian lighting brand’s offering—applying its hallmark attention to form, materiality and performance to luminaires designed specifically for exterior environments.
Known for its refined visual language and commitment to engineering excellence, Lodes’ transition into outdoor lighting is anything but conventional. The collection presents a curated suite of fixtures that move beyond mere functionality, offering a decorative and architectural presence across gardens, terraces, courtyards and façades. These are luminaires conceived not simply to illuminate, but to contribute to the overall atmosphere and character of outdoor environments.
At the heart of the collection is a desire to dissolve the boundary between indoors and out. Lodes OUTDOOR integrates seamlessly with its architectural surroundings, whether through bold sculptural pieces or understated accents. Clean lines and carefully selected materials define the offering, with a colour palette that draws on nature—warm brown, soft neutrals and deep green—allowing the collection to sit comfortably alongside both contemporary and traditional architecture.
Technical rigour underpins the design ethos. Each luminaire is engineered for performance in challenging outdoor conditions, with high IP and IK ratings that exceed industry standards. Dimmer compatibility—including 230V TRIAC, 24V PWM and DALI options—offers tailored lighting control, while modular components and replaceable elements ensure sustainability through longevity and repairability.

A strong emphasis on visual comfort also distinguishes the range. Certain fixtures are designed to reduce glare and limit light spill, using carefully developed optics to balance performance with a discreet lighting effect. Whether highlighting architectural details or softly illuminating pathways, the collection aims to support outdoor environments with both precision and grace.
Lodes has collaborated with an accomplished group of international designers for this release, resulting in a varied yet cohesive offering. Patrick Norguet’s Focus is inspired by camera optics, its form drawing a clear line between technical reference and sculptural impact. Kinno introduces a soft, mushroom-like bollard that nestles easily into landscaped areas, while Chelsie brings a clean, horizontal wash of light—also offered as a compact step light. Reed, designed for direct placement into soil, takes visual cues from its namesake and works equally well as a singular installation or in grouped formations.
Volum and Puzzle Outdoor reimagine two of Lodes’ signature indoor pieces for exterior use. The former—a spherical blown-glass form—adds a refined glow to outdoor settings, while the latter transforms its geometric wall-mounted predecessors into weather-resistant iterations. Rounding out the collection is Stitch, a lantern-style luminaire that uses a woven pattern of metal and outdoor fabric for a more tactile and decorative expression.
With this new chapter, Lodes applies its refined sensibility and technical fluency to exterior environments, introducing a lighting collection that is as thoughtful and atmospheric as it is resilient and high-performing.
