A structural column, once seen as a hindrance, has been reimagined as a quiet focal point. It anchors the central living zones, supporting a custom lighting arrangement that subtly defines the heart of the home. The dining area, finished in a gentle, dusty blue, stands apart from the otherwise neutral palette of earthy browns and warm timber. It acts as a grounding feature, offering a soft moment of contrast and calm.

Tactility is prioritised across all surfaces and finishes. Plywood joinery is left raw, its exposed edges revealing the layered honesty of its construction. Materials are chosen for their subtle character rather than gloss or perfection, creating a home that feels lived-in and deeply personal.
