Atelier Cph is a creative design studio based in Copenhagen, Denmark. For the 2022 collection, the duo dared to play outside the lines and have created a modern, colourful, and expressive series of prints. The collection is composed of 17 new artworks created by mixing their love for tactility with a neverending exploration of new techniques.

This series of artworks is inspired by elements from nature that they’ve collected during travels and around their home. They combined these natural elements to form a more abstract and tangible universe where only fragments of reality can be found. Abstract landscapes, blown-up prints, vibrant colours, organic and irregular shapes add playfulness to the collection.

Their curiosity led to them to work in a photographic darkroom where we have been experimenting with placing abstract objects and natural fragments directly onto the light-sensitive paper and exposing it to light. These photograms complement the collection with their shapes and forms and give a contrast to the multi-layered landscapes of fabric and more organic compositions.

The artworks within this collection are flat prints and are printed onto 265g fine art paper.
