FLAT MUSE: A Soulful Celebration of Grace and Poetry in Bangalore, India by Studio Bomb

FLAT MUSE, Studio Bomb's latest project in Bangalore, India, is a reflection of their core values of empathy, harmony, and balance.

With meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of human needs, Studio Bomb has created a space that goes beyond conventional design boundaries.

FLAT MUSE is an invitation to immerse oneself in an atmosphere that is both captivating and visually striking. Spread across a sprawling 2400 sq. ft apartment, every inch of this space has been thoughtfully designed to create an open, inviting, and visually stunning atmosphere.

The project's development was rooted in a design philosophy that emphasizes conceptual depth, expressive elements, and the removal of superfluous elements. This approach shines through in the use of abstract forms, spatial richness, material contrast, and meticulous attention to detail, all of which contribute to the artistic essence of FLAT MUSE.

The layout of the apartment is intelligently designed, with the social area seamlessly connecting the living, dining, and balcony spaces. This central zone forms a bridge between the master bedroom and kitchen on one side and the guest and kids' bedrooms on the other. It fosters a sense of unity and harmony while allowing for privacy when needed.

Upon entering FLAT MUSE, one is immediately struck by the sharp lines, rich textures, and interplay of light and shadows. The carefully chosen palette of dark tones adds depth and character to the space, creating a poetic ambiance that evokes a sense of wonder. Tactile materials, such as walnut veneer, wrap the living and dining areas, exuding serenity and comfort. The use of open and close metal racking, along with an integrated bar in shades of grey, creates an enchanting envelope that enhances continuity between spaces.

The furniture selection in FLAT MUSE is a testament to Studio Bomb's commitment to artistic expression and refined design. The iconic Camaleonda sofa by B&B Italia takes center stage in the living area, accompanied by custom chairs and coffee tables that exude elegance and charm. In the dining area, Piero Lissoni's Frank chairs surround a custom veined marble table, elevating the space to new heights of sophistication. Thoughtfully crafted bedrooms create a holistic experience, with warm hues, metal accents, leather upholstery, and bespoke pieces adding a touch of serenity and charm.

FLAT MUSE strikes a harmonious balance between the comfort of privacy and the sophisticated expression of modern living. It exudes refinement without veering into preciousness, paying homage to the embodiment of grace. Each element of the design is infused with a soulful sense of poetry and a celebration of the natural world.
