Conceived by maximale, the project reflects a balance of restraint and spontaneity, with an emphasis on contrast that elevates the experience of the boutique environment.

Located in the heart of CDMX, the store unfolds through a series of interconnected volumes, moving from public to more private zones. Visitors are introduced to the boutique through a calm procession that begins at the entrance and waiting room, flows through the central exhibition area and sales room, and ultimately transitions into more intimate spaces like the fitting rooms. This sequence is gently demarcated by a large wooden arch, acting as a visual and spatial threshold between zones.

The material palette creates immediate impact. Dark wood clads both floors and walls, grounding the boutique in the visual language of traditional tailoring. Display furniture is seamlessly integrated into this timber framework, echoing the formality of classic menswear ateliers. These substantial elements are offset by softer gestures – sheer curtains and fine stainless steel detailing offer a lighter, more fluid counterpoint that hints at the brand’s contemporary spirit.

This tension between the structured and the ephemeral defines the atmosphere. The sobriety of the base materials is softened by the ambient presence of light and texture, creating a rhythm that reflects the dual nature of the Bund identity: precise yet relaxed, classic yet open-ended.
