wiercinski-Studio has crafted the 18TH apartment in Poland, a dwelling composed around black check, oak, bespoke furniture, and an unbroken discourse to the city’s western horizon. As the sun sets, the warm orange light penetrates every nook and cranny of the apartment, painting the space with an ethereal glow.

The project's primary objective was to enhance functionality and maximise the use of the glass facade, which spans the entire width of the apartment. Sliding panels create different scenarios of open and private space, while the subdued, light background, adorned with natural oak patterns and a graphic black grid, exudes a sense of calm and serenity.

“The 18TH apartment is located on the eighteenth floor of the tallest residential building in the center of Poznan. The entire width of the space offers a view to the horizon of the western part of the city.”

The kitchen, positioned to capture the setting sun, features natural, patterned granite on the back wall, which changes with the time of day, affecting the space like a large, living painting.

The walls are adorned with works by Piotr Kurka, Leszek Knaflewski, and a triptych commissioned from Nikodem Szpunar, which perfectly complement the apartment's selected colours.

Adam Wiercinski's custom furniture and details made of steel, stone, natural oak, and glass add the perfect finishing touch. Each element was crafted as a unique piece by local craftsmen, lending the interior an incomparable character.
